[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-image:url(http://i56.tinypic.com/2zgu9hc.jpg); width: 440px; padding-top:10px;]start all over --- Skype calls, texting.. he'd spent his entire day contacting business associates. He'd been told not to, many people believed that the stress of running his businesses would kill him someday. Stella had brought him to the country club so that they could have a nice time and relax, only Josh could never relax when there were calls to make or emails to reply to. He was on the verge of increasing the very profitability of his business, all he had to do was decrease costs and increase his prices, adding value to his merchandise. He'd been on the phone to his suppliers all morning trying to find the best sources of beef that money could buy. He'd had to keep these meetings on the down low, since it was a well-kept secret that his suppliers used a growth hormone with the cows - it increases the growth rate of the livestock, it reduced the fat content of meat and increased milk production. It was the very reason that Mark's Butchers was the only place to go for grade A meat.
Due to the fact that what he was doing was illegal, he didn't tell anyone. Not even Stella. It was easy to believe that Mark's Butchers simply had the best suppliers, or did something harmlessly legal to the meat to make it taste better and have a reduced fat content. Even if anyone did suspect, it was his word against theirs. Hormone-treated beef hadn't been talked about since the 1990s, it was an easy transaction to hide. Josh was sitting in a dimly lit lounge with his phone on his lap, fingers typing a million words an hour just to try to get through his e-mails before Stella caught him in here. He figured she wouldn't be too happy that she'd brought him to the country club to enjoy himself and here he was, working as usual.
He heard a slight creak and looked up, thinking he must be paranoid when he saw that the door hadn't moved and nothing was there. He was just slightly on edge, it was hard to balance being a man, a friend, a member of the Mark's family, and the person that ran a long line of butchers that could go bust at any seconds if someone got their hands on his suppliers. It always seemed to make him just a little bit jumpy.

[newclass=.test]border: 10px solid #96CDCD; width: 450px; background-color: #F0FFFF; padding: 40px 5px 40px 5px;[/newclass] i never loved nobody fully always one foot on the ground A weekend retreat at Bayside Country Club was an indulgence that Stella allowed herself from time to time when she was feeling particularly stressed. This time, though, she wasn't here because she was stressed herself. Actually, she was feeling pretty great, as this time she was here for the first time with her boyfriend, Joshua Marks. It had been a bit of a struggle, but she had finally convinced him to take a break from his insanely busy work life and come relax with her at the country club, spending the weekend lounging by the pool, getting messages, and perhaps even play some tennis, although that would be quite an embarrassing endeavor on Stella's part. But she was ridiculously excited that he'd agreed to come with her. They hadn't been seeing each other for very long, but Stella was surprised at how much she liked Josh. Sure, she often developed feelings for people, but usually only fleetingly, and nothing that ever got her mind off her long-time crush on her friend Sawyer. But she hardly ever thought about him when she was with Josh.
Oddly enough, she actually hadn't seen Josh so far today yet. But then again, she had slept in, and now she was on her way to her massage. They had planned on getting massages at the same time so she assumed perhaps he was getting one already. Or perhaps he was at the pool. There were no text messages on her phone, so she proceeded to the spa and checked in for her massage. She nearly fell asleep, it was so relaxing. After an hour, Stella was completely loose and relaxed, and about ready for a nap. But she decided it was time to go find out what Josh was doing. After slipping on a bright, floral sundress, she began her search in the places she thought he was most likely to be. Apparently he wasn't getting a massage, he wasn't in the room, and he wasn't in the pool. Stella frowned as her eyes scanned the swimming area. There were several people taking advantage of the pool and sauna, but Josh wasn't one of them. Where on earth could he be?
Finally, as Stella wandered through more deserted parts of the country club, she found him sitting alone in a lounge. The tension that had only just been massaged from her shoulders returned instantly as she saw that he was on his laptop, and his phone, clearly working, as he'd promised he wouldn't. The door snapped shut behind her and she stood there, arms crossed, and cleared her throat to announce her presence. "Joshua Marks," she said accusingly. "Is all that really more fun than spending a relaxing day with your girlfriend?" She raised her eyebrows, feigning a serious tone, but she wasn't really angry. If anything, only a little irritated and hurt that he wasn't taking advantage of spending this time with her as she'd been looking forward to. But Stella found it almost impossible to actually be upset with him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,background-image:url(http://i56.tinypic.com/2zgu9hc.jpg); width: 440px; padding-top:10px;]start all over --- Busted. There was no ability to deny in this situation, so he'd have to settle for grovelling. "Babe, please. You know it isn't more fun. But it's stuff that I have to do. I'm sorry, look, I'll put everything away now and we can spend some time together." and as he spoke, he did start tucking his phone away in his pocket and he did close the lid on his laptop. He wasn't really the type that liked to argue and if it made Stella happy for him to take a break, well, he could take a break. "Forgive me now?" he asked, doing his best to muster up a cheerful expression in light of having been discovered. Could be worse of course, and he was sure Stella knew that. Some girls caught their boyfriends cheating, but since Joshua had never the time nor morals nor desire to juggle more than one girlfriend, that was one thing that Stella never had to worry about.
Could he say the same about her? Well, Josh didn't trust easy. And they had only been going out for only a few weeks, but from what he knew of Stella he genuinely believed she was gorgeous and beautiful inside and out. He got up off his feet and started striding towards her. "Your not angry with me are you?" he purred, wrapping his arms around her waist possessively, bringing her close. His lips sought her neck and planted light kisses there. His arms held her firmly, his eyes warm as he sought forgiveness in her eyes. His lips worked their way up her neck and up to the contours of her face, then grazing her lips playfully. A small smile budded at his cheeks.
