[atrb=border,0,true] joseph ward twenty-five, the stuck, single, father. after the untimely death of his wife less than a year ago, joseph was left alone to raise his two year old daughter. he has become a shell of his former self, pushing away all of his friends and never going out anymore. his whole life revolves around his daughter, and while it's fabulous that he's such a great dad, but cutting himself off from people his own age has got to bite him in the ass eventually. his applicationfriends: this is rather tricky, as he doesn't like people all that much. well, really...it's not even that. he just doesn't want anybody to get hurt because of him so he closes himself off. he's also quite afraid of getting hurt himself or losing his daughter. he's a good guy beneath all the shit that he puts forth. enemies: he's a righteous dude and if you're in the wrong, he won't hesitate to tell you so. he gives guidance but doesn't judge. if you hurt somebody he cares about, you just earned yourself a free ass kicking. he won't give a damn who you are or who you think you are. lovers: this category is currently...off limits. he fears relationships and rightly so, considering what happened to his late wife. his main focus is his daughter and nobody, no matter how pretty the face, will deter him from making sure his little girl is taken care of properly. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:250px; height:0px;] seb & joseph
so these two are right around the same age and i was thinking that maybe they could have been friends back in high school? maybe even they could have been friends up until joseph's wife died and then their friendship just sort of fell apart? only if you're okay with it, of course. seb would totally hate that they aren't friends anymore and if they were still friends when his daughter was born seb would probably hate it even more because he loves kids. maybe seb would still sometimes try and get through to joseph but for the most part has probably given up? feel free to add/edit/hate all of this.

Regan & Joseph I think Regan would actually kind of feel sorry for Joseph. They probably met when his wife died, and I think Regan would take a liking to Joseph and his daughter, at least enough to try sometimes to keep in touch and make sure they're doing ok. Maybe she just felt bad because of the tragedy, or maybe she wants to make sure that Joseph's daughter has some older women in her life. Of course, she's not the type to insert herself where she isn't wanted, so she's perfectly happy to give them as much space as they need, but I think she's probably made it clear that she'll be a friend if they need one.

hannah & joseph well I'm not sure how these two would meet, but they're the same age and hannah is a second-grade teacher. maybe they could meet in a coffee shop and hannah would strike up a conversation about how cute his daughter is? i could see them being friends and hannah having quite the crush on him that perhaps joseph does his best to ignore haha. but hannah would adore how attentive and loving he is to his daughter, and perhaps offer to babysit because she would be absolutely charmed by her i'm sure! and she'd like an excuse to hang out with joseph, even though she'd know (or not) about his wife and how unavailable he is. it would be quite tragic and fun! haha. anyway, thoughts?
